The Westin Hotel in downtown Austin, TX was a new hotel  that went under construction in 2013. The Hotel’s functions included guest rooms and services, a restaurant and bar, meeting rooms, a ballroom, and a rooftop pool. Each one of these spaces had different technological needs that Keystone Digital worked with the Architects to accomplish. Keystone Digital installed an audio network in all common spaces providing background music to guests and workers alike. The ballroom was programmed on the same audio network and with multiple user control panels. This allows the ballroom’s audio to be subdivided into 3 smaller ballrooms when the partition walls are in place. Once the space is divided the user can still operate each individual ballroom the same way they would as a whole. For businesses or groups using a meeting room, Keystone Digital has provided user friendly control panels, display monitors, and audio/video input plates. This allows for the user to bring in his or her content, via a laptop, and plug directly into that meeting rooms system and start presenting immediately. A projector in the combined meeting room accommodates for bigger events. No AV setup needed prior to meetings saves time and money.
