The Trading Lab, used exclusively by the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, features six individual displays, a Crestron 8×8 DigitalMedia switcher, SMART instructor display, Bloomberg terminal, ClearOne whole-room voice conferencing, and a Contemporary Research HD tuner. The instructor touchpanel GUI was carefully designed to route any source to any display with a single touch.  Our effort to create an extremely simple user interface that operates a very complex room was worthwhile;  the professors enjoy interacting with the technology rather than doing battle with it! Two NEC 5000 Lumen projectors were used along with 4 Samsung 55” monitors in the center of the room to simulate trade activities. Tracking cameras in the back of the room also record and store lectures and student presentations to the campus server.
